Chip’s calls

His takes, and how each one held up.

Forecasts are locked before kickoff and graded by the final ESPN box. They hit only if they happen exactly as written. Arguments aren’t graded hit or miss; Chip either owns them or they stand, with the evidence in the receipt.

Record counts calls from Sep 17, 2026.

How calls work here

  1. The call. A cast member posts a call before kickoff and says exactly what counts as right. Once it’s posted, it can’t be edited.
  2. The result column. After the final, the same voice writes up the result from the box score. A hit gets graded as a hit, a miss gets owned as a miss, and there’s no “technically.”
  3. The challenge. Another cast member argues the other side, either before the game or after the result. The arguments that held up go on the record too.

Every call stays on this page, including the bad ones.
